Original design of Mertveil
This outfit is influenced by the early 18th century and the fashion style of King Louis's. Whilst working with the designer on this costume, there were lots of changes including pattern changes, costume detail and fabric selection.
My job was to make Mertveil's costume and use techniques including dye/distressing of the costumes. I dyed the fabric Bubblegum pink for the Petticoats, painted the colour pink on the heels of the shoes and dyed the men's costume black.
